Rufaro

Marko Prokić

KB: What are the motives for creating this design?
FF: I’ve tried to imagine a specific taste and ingredients of the beer and to embody them as its goddess, Rufaro.

KB: What was your initial inspiration?
FF: The contrast in between totemic expression that inclines to traditional, exotic Africa and linear and minimalistic illustration that brings it back to the present moment.

KB: Was it the taste of the beer that defined design of the label?
FF: It was more the peculiarity of its ingredients. The biggest challenge was to artistically set hemp on one side and tangerine or orange on the other and to avoid a triviality of its representation, especially regarding the first one.

KB: How does it feel like to do a design for the first Serbian craft beer?
FF: Dream job. To work for someone who appreciate Design this much, it isn’t a work at all. Not to mention the honor of being in a company of other Designers that have done their labels.

KB:Your favorite Kabinet beer?
FF: You will not believe, but I do not drink beer. Nevertheless, Mosaic definitely. Because it was done by Vesna Pesic.
